Eleven years of friendship

We were once Highschool girls who comes to school,goes out for lunch and comes out of class in groups. The basic 'barkada' thing is what I share with these girls who became part of my life during my innocent, geeky days.


Geeky, yes! We were friends since 1st yr. Highschool and the established friendship was because we were in the same star section since 1st yr.. four of us were classmates since elementary years! yup.. Since we were 7 yr. old.


I once thought that we share with these highschool gals were very childish, naive. After high school graduation, we went to different colleges, started to go out with different sets of friends and seldom see each other. We normally see each other during Christmas season, but its not a yearly ritual. Years passed by and we lived our lives totally in different worlds.
We learned to love, to get hurt, to give up and try again, to succeed without the presence of one other..


After 11 years, what we were before and what we are now aint really hard to accept. Besides, amazing stories can only come out of the people you value the most in your life.
We once chose different paths just to find out that these personal paths we chose will lead back to each other. Nice to see you again Maj3bi!

For 4 years, my Alma Matter was and still is the University of Santo Tomas .  There are a lot of reasons to be proud of this University. The Character built within each and every students who enroll in this campus are remarkable and I can say made us, Filipinos proud of our race.  For Centuries (400 years), Catholic catechism has been the basis of the University's teachings. When I took up Fine arts back in 2002, there are less lectures and more on hands-on drawings and labs. This means lesser class hours for Christian living lessons *sigh. Less time, but unforgettable teachings. How can I forget my professor, Mr. Cura? He was 65 years old back then, but still he was teaching. He was a real emblem of PASSION, PATIENCE. He was a real inspiration for everyone whom he shared his life with. Hope For Haiti now

6 continents, 60 countries, 60 International Networks.. Different people all over the world joined towards one goal and that is to help our Haitian people. Helping from the other side of the world may not have the same impact when you have close encounter with the Haitian victims of the Earthquake that happened last January 12. Thanks to CNN and online streaming, people here in my country were able to keep in touch and it feels like we're not too far at all. I was one of the people tasked to do a brief training to those who volunteered for the telethon organized for hopeforhaitinow. At first, I was hesitant. The Nurse- Edith Shain sure felt butterflies in her tummy back when this lovable soldier gave her a kiss when the World war II ended. This Kiss was supposed to be a sign of love between the two of them, and the  the two of them only.
