YOU complete me

In the midst of the desire to achieve serenity and solitude at the end of a very stressful work week. There is at some point, a failure to get what you really wanted -- A peak of at least one whole day of perfect solitude.

Ideally, Perfect Serenity for me is spending a day in a place where no one else but God can intercede.

Maybe at a top of a mountain with the clear blue skies, watching the stars majestically do what they are designed for or in the middle of an Island, surrounded by the clear waters of the sea, while you listen to the sound of the waves. Spending it with the most important person in your life is better but it'll be fine if I'm at it alone.



But in this real world, if you are a person pursuing a career, you cant just go out of town and do that. You cant easily sail away from this unwanted world in order to seek your solitude.

It'll take a lot of conscious effort, VL planning and everything. So we tend to revert our ideals to the ones we have physically and realistically available. Hoping that going out with friends, watching movies, eating out, drinking and partying out would free your mind and refill your hearts with the strength we needed to go on the succeeding weeks.



While we were all busy thinking and hoping that these temporary things are all we needed, I have learned that our hearts were created with an empty spot that neither our partners, family and friends can fulfill. He created us that way so that we continue to yearn for HIS love and keep on searching for HIM after we get tired of searching for something else.



Why would HE want us to feel empty? HE is a jealous God. "(Deuteronomy 4:24 NIV) For the LORD your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God." He wanted to feel needed and wanted, thus He allows certain circumstances to happen that would eventually bring us back to HIM.


We don't really need to be involved in an unusual or painful situation in order to realize that God is all we needed after all. All we need to do is Be still, for in quietness HE can make us feel HIS presence and HE can work on our lives and make us the better person we wanted tomorrow.


You Give me Hope..
You give me strength that I need..
You are all I need...

For 4 years, my Alma Matter was and still is the University of Santo Tomas .  There are a lot of reasons to be proud of this University. The Character built within each and every students who enroll in this campus are remarkable and I can say made us, Filipinos proud of our race.  For Centuries (400 years), Catholic catechism has been the basis of the University's teachings. When I took up Fine arts back in 2002, there are less lectures and more on hands-on drawings and labs. This means lesser class hours for Christian living lessons *sigh. Less time, but unforgettable teachings. How can I forget my professor, Mr. Cura? He was 65 years old back then, but still he was teaching. He was a real emblem of PASSION, PATIENCE. He was a real inspiration for everyone whom he shared his life with. Apart from the great teachings and lectures I had with Mr. Cura, the University's annual activities being held like "PASKUHAN" is one of the reasons why I dearly love my Alma Matte

Hope For Haiti now

6 continents, 60 countries, 60 International Networks.. Different people all over the world joined towards one goal and that is to help our Haitian people. Helping from the other side of the world may not have the same impact when you have close encounter with the Haitian victims of the Earthquake that happened last January 12. Thanks to CNN and online streaming, people here in my country were able to keep in touch and it feels like we're not too far at all. I was one of the people tasked to do a brief training to those who volunteered for the telethon organized for hopeforhaitinow. At first, I was hesitant. But setting myself aside, I began thinking of the help, support and motivation I could give to colleagues who are willing to help out to the Haitian community.I was so overwhelmed when I see batches of trainees come and go out of the training room, and then after 30 minutes they were empowered and ready to take in calls. A Classic Love story

The Nurse- Edith Shain sure felt butterflies in her tummy back when this lovable soldier gave her a kiss when the World war II ended. This Kiss was supposed to be a sign of love between the two of them, and the  the two of them only. They never imagined that the magic of this kiss will last a century and will be part of our History. Letters to Juliet featured this Historical image when Amanda Seyfried (Sophie) played as a Fact finder and researcher for a prominent Paper in New york. She was a hopeless romantic girl who was engaged to someone she's not sure if she's in love with. They went to Verona, Italy to rekindle the love they had for each other only to find out that the love of her life now is not the one she ever wanted in the first place.
