**So loved this movie by Sarah Geronimo and John Loyd Cruz, so I had to borrow this famous line and use it as my blog title**


I would like to start this blog with this bible verse,

Ecclesiastes 12:1 -3 “Don’t let the excitement of youth cause you to forget your Creator. Honor him in your youth before you grow old and say, ‘Life is not pleasant anymore.’ Remember him before the light of the sun, moon, and stars is dim to your old eyes, and rain clouds continually darken your sky. Remember him before your legs—the guards of your house—start to tremble; and before your shoulders—the strong men—stoop. Remember him before your teeth—your few remaining servants—stop grinding; and before your eyes—the women looking through the windows—see dimly.” (NLT)


As a woman servant of the Lord, I had my share of Ups and Downs in this knotty journey with Him. Each Year, I have grown through the things I've learned from life's experiences . Each and every year I've learned to indulge in God's presence alone in order to make things possible.

I may not be one of those church - grown kids way back who are now turned into Church Leaders, Bible Study Group Leads. But I can proudly say that the Lord's presence has always been with me throughout these days.


My 28th Birthday was one of those Liberating moments in my life. It was an ordinary day spent with not so ordinary people. Gabby (my life and the only reason I keep my sanity) and some of the closest friends from work who, somehow made a special connection: Jaco - one of the rude-looking but naive type of guy (loved him much though! loved your tolerable persistence!) ; Excel - my soul girl friend whom I can share everything without actually telling anything.. ( you know what I mean) ; Gil aka Giray#2- one of the weirdest yet sensible young man I have ever known. ; Giray *orig and her gf, Emcee (hope I spelled it right! :D)- two young lovers full of respect, trust and love. This scenario, keeps on flashing back and makes me laugh out loud every-time! "DI SYA UMIINOM, * sabay sabunot! peace!; JC- mister pick up lines, thank you for going out of your way just to be with us; Noel- one of the most honest persons,, taaaraaaaay! ; Ricabeth - my best mom friend whom I can share everything; Eric- mister BV turned slightly GV haha peace! and last but not the least Dibes- my ex-seminarian yosi bud!


I am surrounded by a dynamic group of young people, makes me feel a lot older *sigh,..

I thank God for making me feel older though. I thank God for these friends whom He allowed to be part of my life and become my friends.

The next year of my life is dedicated to the younger generation, including gab's hoping to be their light and hope, taraaaay!

For 4 years, my Alma Matter was and still is the University of Santo Tomas .  There are a lot of reasons to be proud of this University. The Character built within each and every students who enroll in this campus are remarkable and I can say made us, Filipinos proud of our race.  For Centuries (400 years), Catholic catechism has been the basis of the University's teachings. When I took up Fine arts back in 2002, there are less lectures and more on hands-on drawings and labs. This means lesser class hours for Christian living lessons *sigh. Less time, but unforgettable teachings. How can I forget my professor, Mr. Cura? He was 65 years old back then, but still he was teaching. He was a real emblem of PASSION, PATIENCE. He was a real inspiration for everyone whom he shared his life with. Hope For Haiti now

6 continents, 60 countries, 60 International Networks.. Different people all over the world joined towards one goal and that is to help our Haitian people. Helping from the other side of the world may not have the same impact when you have close encounter with the Haitian victims of the Earthquake that happened last January 12. Thanks to CNN and online streaming, people here in my country were able to keep in touch and it feels like we're not too far at all. I was one of the people tasked to do a brief training to those who volunteered for the telethon organized for hopeforhaitinow. At first, I was hesitant. The Nurse- Edith Shain sure felt butterflies in her tummy back when this lovable soldier gave her a kiss when the World war II ended. This Kiss was supposed to be a sign of love between the two of them, and the  the two of them only.
