2015: Micamics' Year Ender Blog

Bucket list is a norm for blogger most especially in this time of year. To set myself apart, I do not want to jot down a list of achievements I had for the present year, neither will I write down a list of things I would like to do the upcoming year. To dream for worldly things is humane, but I if there is one thing I've learned this year that is to enhance my Spiritual senses rather than the Physical or Humane one. Yes! I've grown much deeper with the Lord this year than the past years since I accepted Him as my personal Lord and Savior last 2003. Although I still am a work in progress, and there are a lot of ups and down during my walk with HIM. I am proud to say that I've been walking with him in all ways my humane self can achieve. And when the time comes that my humane self could not go along any further, all  I need to do is to kneel down in prayer and He is always ready to listen.
To sum it all up, my 2015 consists of  PAIN, JOY, LESSONS, TRANQUILITY, TRIALS, and as always, over flowing LOVE from HIM and LOVE of  FAMILY. 

This coming year, I yearn for the following (based on Lessons the current year) : MORE LOVE, COMPASSION, CONTENTMENT, FREEDOM (in all aspects of life), COURAGE and KINDNESS. 


To the people who made me who I am today, thank you..
To my family ( Mom and Daughter) for their unending love and support...
To my mentor, my uncle, my confidant for being all ears whenever I need someone to listen to my never ending questions about life and God,,,
and to HIM who's grace is overflowing and whose cup of love and patience always fills every morning... 

With YOU in my life, I am never afraid to face the upcoming year. Cheers to 2016!

For 4 years, my Alma Matter was and still is the University of Santo Tomas .  There are a lot of reasons to be proud of this University. The Character built within each and every students who enroll in this campus are remarkable and I can say made us, Filipinos proud of our race.  For Centuries (400 years), Catholic catechism has been the basis of the University's teachings. When I took up Fine arts back in 2002, there are less lectures and more on hands-on drawings and labs. This means lesser class hours for Christian living lessons *sigh. Less time, but unforgettable teachings. How can I forget my professor, Mr. Cura? He was 65 years old back then, but still he was teaching. He was a real emblem of PASSION, PATIENCE. He was a real inspiration for everyone whom he shared his life with. Hope For Haiti now

6 continents, 60 countries, 60 International Networks.. Different people all over the world joined towards one goal and that is to help our Haitian people. Helping from the other side of the world may not have the same impact when you have close encounter with the Haitian victims of the Earthquake that happened last January 12. Thanks to CNN and online streaming, people here in my country were able to keep in touch and it feels like we're not too far at all. I was one of the people tasked to do a brief training to those who volunteered for the telethon organized for hopeforhaitinow. At first, I was hesitant. But setting myself aside, I began thinking of the help, support and motivation I could give to colleagues who are willing to help out to the Haitian community.I was so overwhelmed when I see batches of trainees come and go out of the training room, and then after 30 minutes they were empowered and ready to take in calls. The Nurse- Edith Shain sure felt butterflies in her tummy back when this lovable soldier gave her a kiss when the World war II ended. This Kiss was supposed to be a sign of love between the two of them, and the  the two of them only. They never imagined that the magic of this kiss will last a century and will be part of our History. Letters to Juliet featured this Historical image when Amanda Seyfried (Sophie) played as a Fact finder and researcher for a prominent Paper in New york. She was a hopeless romantic girl who was engaged to someone she's not sure if she's in love with.
