Nine years ago today, I started this Blog to showcase my talent in writing after an old mentor noticed a passive skill. Since then, this blog evolved from an emotional to informational and now a spiritual kind of blog and its transition is obvious looking back at my older blog posts.May 2, 2017 - Today, God gave me another reason to exalt Him (again) in His usual child-like way, if I may say. In deep need of His presence on this special day, I asked a dearest friend of mine to accompany me to a Prayer Mountain called Touch of Glory. Inside a prayer cell room, while everyone is supposed to be drowned in His presence- to my surprise, I wasn't even sober- perhaps a lot of things going on in my mind. Well after roughly an hour of stay in the Prayer Mountain, we continued our day by driving another hour to reach Daranak Falls where kids (my daughter and Niece) can swim.As the waters fall from the ledge of the Mountains, the sound of flowing water fills up our surrounding and while the cold soothing waters touches my exhausted body- God amazingly spoke to me, and reminded me that HE is my source of everything and that my prayers should not be enclosed inside a prayer room- doesn't need a four-cornered room for Him to speak to me and for me to do the same. Just like the Water Falls - God's Love never runs out, He is our source of love, blessings, and the source of all the good things in our lives. While we ( the recipients), doesn't give anything back- He continues to fill our empty cup, lovingly .



I am amazed how God seemingly spoke with me in a child- like manner, while I with a faithful heart, tried to talk to Him the same way our Church Leaders do. Perhaps it is the best way He can impart His words with me. Or maybe- He knew me well enough and He wants to meet me half way.. Regardless of His reasons, I am as always, thankful for His presence in my life. My Bible Verse for today:

John 7:38"He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, 'From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.'"



 Thank you Lord for another Blessed Year!

For 4 years, my Alma Matter was and still is the University of Santo Tomas .  There are a lot of reasons to be proud of this University. The Character built within each and every students who enroll in this campus are remarkable and I can say made us, Filipinos proud of our race.  For Centuries (400 years), Catholic catechism has been the basis of the University's teachings. When I took up Fine arts back in 2002, there are less lectures and more on hands-on drawings and labs. This means lesser class hours for Christian living lessons *sigh. Less time, but unforgettable teachings. How can I forget my professor, Mr. Cura? He was 65 years old back then, but still he was teaching. He was a real emblem of PASSION, PATIENCE. He was a real inspiration for everyone whom he shared his life with. Apart from the great teachings and lectures I had with Mr. Cura, the University's annual activities being held like "PASKUHAN" is one of the reasons why I dearly love my Alma Matte

Hope For Haiti now

6 continents, 60 countries, 60 International Networks.. Different people all over the world joined towards one goal and that is to help our Haitian people. Helping from the other side of the world may not have the same impact when you have close encounter with the Haitian victims of the Earthquake that happened last January 12. Thanks to CNN and online streaming, people here in my country were able to keep in touch and it feels like we're not too far at all. I was one of the people tasked to do a brief training to those who volunteered for the telethon organized for hopeforhaitinow. At first, I was hesitant. But setting myself aside, I began thinking of the help, support and motivation I could give to colleagues who are willing to help out to the Haitian community.I was so overwhelmed when I see batches of trainees come and go out of the training room, and then after 30 minutes they were empowered and ready to take in calls. The Nurse- Edith Shain sure felt butterflies in her tummy back when this lovable soldier gave her a kiss when the World war II ended. This Kiss was supposed to be a sign of love between the two of them, and the  the two of them only. They never imagined that the magic of this kiss will last a century and will be part of our History. Letters to Juliet featured this Historical image when Amanda Seyfried (Sophie) played as a Fact finder and researcher for a prominent Paper in New york.
