Draw me close once again (A redeeming Sunday to everyone!)

"Draw me close to you, never let me go. I lay it all down again to hear you say that I'm you're friend" Lately I felt that You are too far away from me. I can no longer feel You're wonderful presence. Your hands that pats my back when every thing's not turning out right and with just a snap, everything will feel right even though It isn't yet. I yearn for Your loving presence oh Lord. I need to be drawn close to You. "You are my desire, No one else will do. Nothing else will take your place to feel the warmth of your embrace. Help me find the way, bring me back to you" With You I have found my shelter. You are my shield against emotional endeavours this life has to offer. Neither anyone, nor anything can take Your place. That's why I'm going back to Your loving presence. "You're all I want, You're all I've ever needed. Help me know you are near" Hear my heart out Lord. Hear me cry, my plead. I need Your

August 23 - Manila Hostage drama (from a Filipina- blogger's own opinion)

Last August 23,2010 marked  the most tragic, disappointing and shameful hostage drama I ever witnessed in my entire life. The first time the news about it was aired on National television, I quietly said to myself  "This won't take long.. I do pray the authorities give out the hostage-taker's plea immediately.." I was at the mall with my daughter when I first had a sneak about it inside a money transfer store so I haven't had the chance to really dig into the details as to who the hostage- taker was, and what he wanted in the first place. It was 11 am then, we got home, took a nap beside my daughter and I woke up past 2 pm only to realize that the media are now keeping their camera's on this Bus with the hostages and hostage-takers inside it. It was only then that I realized that the hostage-taker was a previous PNP ( Philippine National Police ) officer, Rolando Mendoza, who was dismissed last year due to a violation and all he really wanted was justice. August 7, 2010 (Saturday) Lesson #1 Each and every patient is unique. They might have the same symptoms, but they have different causes. The doctors should treat each patient differently, ask questions, and listen. In our case, I told this doctor that my daughter has cough for almost a month now and the doctors including my daughter's pedia heard that her lungs are clear whenever they listen through it. It turned out that my daughter had viral fever which was caused by pneumonitis. If only this gay doctor from the ER last saturday LISTENED. He could have admitted us that day and no need to send us away. Lesson #2 Mothers knows best . It is part of our innate instinct to feel that there's something wrong happening to our loved ones. Indeed, gabby just had a plain HIGH FEVER but who are they to tell us not to have our daughters admitted when we felt there's something wrong. When we believe in something, we have to stand up for it and fight. yes, FIGHT. I have to sound

I'm moving on.. this time it felt ohh so real!

I can say that I haven't really moved on since the day my previous employer decided to let me go, considering the skills I share is  sooo o incomparable ! (nobody react please! It's one way to boost ones ego you know... LOL ) hahah. Seriously, No one can ever really move on until you find another employer where you can do the things you love the most and start where you left off. Until this day, I haven't really found another employer, and I'm not dying to (just so you know) I'm still enjoying the things I share with my daughter gabby. So I can say that I'm not a hundred percent sure If I've moved on or not. But I'm getting there. I've taken a big leap in search of the career I've been longing the most and taken cared of for the longest time. There are stages in Moving on. I'm sure everyone must go through these stages in order to completely move on. Step 1: Make HAPPINESS . Indeed It's hard to be happy if u feel, deep inside yo

For 4 years, my Alma Matter was and still is the University of Santo Tomas .  There are a lot of reasons to be proud of this University. The Character built within each and every students who enroll in this campus are remarkable and I can say made us, Filipinos proud of our race.  For Centuries (400 years), Catholic catechism has been the basis of the University's teachings. When I took up Fine arts back in 2002, there are less lectures and more on hands-on drawings and labs. This means lesser class hours for Christian living lessons *sigh. Less time, but unforgettable teachings. How can I forget my professor, Mr. Cura? He was 65 years old back then, but still he was teaching. He was a real emblem of PASSION, PATIENCE. He was a real inspiration for everyone whom he shared his life with. Apart from the great teachings and lectures I had with Mr. Cura, the University's annual activities being held like "PASKUHAN" is one of the reasons why I dearly love my Alma Matte

(Pilyang Kerubin from GMA7) This Soap -opera is aired on GMA's Primetime slot every weekdays and I must admit, me and my daughter simply just cant take our eyes off our television from 6 pm onwards (Starting off the night with Langit sa Piling mo ). I have to make sure that dinner's served before 6 so gabby and I can stay in front of the TV and watch without distractions. Aside from a very nice bonding experience for me and gab, this teleserye has wonderful moral lessons that I noticed on its first few episodes. Here they constantly talk about AMA, HIS rules, and HIS ways. AMA is the local term for Father , our Lord Jesus by the way. Janno Gibbs play a part of San Pedro, who has constant communication with Ama. He relays every decisions and Ama's point of view not only on every angel's lives but on every situation happening on earth.  This teleserye not only ENTERTAINS people, above anything else it TEACHES and REMINDS us that everything happens for a reason. A Classic Love story

The Nurse- Edith Shain sure felt butterflies in her tummy back when this lovable soldier gave her a kiss when the World war II ended. This Kiss was supposed to be a sign of love between the two of them, and the  the two of them only. They never imagined that the magic of this kiss will last a century and will be part of our History. Letters to Juliet featured this Historical image when Amanda Seyfried (Sophie) played as a Fact finder and researcher for a prominent Paper in New york. She was a hopeless romantic girl who was engaged to someone she's not sure if she's in love with. They went to Verona, Italy to rekindle the love they had for each other only to find out that the love of her life now is not the one she ever wanted in the first place. Sophie bumped into a group of writers  named "secretaries of Juliet" who writes and answers letters written for Juliet from women all over the world who were seeking for answers regarding matters of the heart.
