Celebration of Life [My Birthday Realizations]

Life is God- Given.
The Lord has paid the price of dying on the cross for us to enjoy the life we are enjoying now, guilt- free of sins. Even before we come out of our mother's womb, we are already forgiven. That's how vast our Lord's love is.

On my 26th Birthday, thought of celebrating it out of town with my loved ones, away from everybody else. Due to unexpected circumstances, my VL was disapproved. Frustration engulfed me from the day it happened till a day before my birthday, not realizing the reason for this celebration.

As my big day approached, I soon realized the real reason behind celebrating one's Life, that suddenly changed my outlook in life. God has allowed us to live this life we have now so we can, at some point give light and inspiration to others.

In fact, we should celebrate life everyday.

Our big day should be celebrated with the Lord's presence and our loved ones even in it's simplest form. Ideally, we take this time to relax and pamper ourselves with all the good vibes and wonderful things. But in this imperfect world, where all things change.  we cant always have that kind of celebration. We can always give thanks even when we are at the office while doing work or inside a room before you go to sleep.
You can pamper yourself with love by giving love through simple signs of love: Kiss, hug etc.
So long as you are with the persons who matter most in your life, there's always a reason for celebration. 

Life - is God given, we can only make ways to celebrate for this wonderful gift and don't have the right to take it away ourselves. It feels bad whenever someone didn't have the chance to bounce back from a very frustrating situation to a reason to celebrate one's existence.

Life has a lot of wonderful things to offer. So many people around you are always there to make you realize how loved and appreciated you are. If these humane gestures isn't enough to uplift our downhearted spirits, we can always turn back to the Lord's Sovereign love. HIM alone can fulfill these gaps we have in our hearts when everyone else fails.

For 4 years, my Alma Matter was and still is the University of Santo Tomas .  There are a lot of reasons to be proud of this University. The Character built within each and every students who enroll in this campus are remarkable and I can say made us, Filipinos proud of our race.  For Centuries (400 years), Catholic catechism has been the basis of the University's teachings. When I took up Fine arts back in 2002, there are less lectures and more on hands-on drawings and labs. This means lesser class hours for Christian living lessons *sigh. Less time, but unforgettable teachings. How can I forget my professor, Mr. Cura? He was 65 years old back then, but still he was teaching. He was a real emblem of PASSION, PATIENCE. He was a real inspiration for everyone whom he shared his life with. Hope For Haiti now

6 continents, 60 countries, 60 International Networks.. Different people all over the world joined towards one goal and that is to help our Haitian people. Helping from the other side of the world may not have the same impact when you have close encounter with the Haitian victims of the Earthquake that happened last January 12. Thanks to CNN and online streaming, people here in my country were able to keep in touch and it feels like we're not too far at all. I was one of the people tasked to do a brief training to those who volunteered for the telethon organized for hopeforhaitinow. At first, I was hesitant. A Classic Love story

The Nurse- Edith Shain sure felt butterflies in her tummy back when this lovable soldier gave her a kiss when the World war II ended. This Kiss was supposed to be a sign of love between the two of them, and the  the two of them only. They never imagined that the magic of this kiss will last a century and will be part of our History. Letters to Juliet featured this Historical image when Amanda Seyfried (Sophie) played as a Fact finder and researcher for a prominent Paper in New york. She was a hopeless romantic girl who was engaged to someone she's not sure if she's in love with.
