Random thoughts 2013: I love shopping!

Today, I found myself engulfed at shopping. But this time its much more different than the last time I did stroll around the mall. My frailty cannot be hidden the moment I pass by these stores for shoes and nice tops. And believe it or not, I don't get tired of going back on these stores just to check out the apple of my eye (whatever that is.. ) My strolling ended the moment i felt cramps at my feet and my eyelids started dropping because of too much sleepiness. Then I found myself going home with a bag full of stuff from National bookstore. Yep! Notebooks, pad paper, another set of pencils, bond paper and art papers for gab! Only then have I realized how much my life had turned around now that my little gab is growing. I came home with a glad heart knowing how much I've changed in this matter.


I thank God for having gab in my life!

For 4 years, my Alma Matter was and still is the University of Santo Tomas .  There are a lot of reasons to be proud of this University. The Character built within each and every students who enroll in this campus are remarkable and I can say made us, Filipinos proud of our race.  For Centuries (400 years), Catholic catechism has been the basis of the University's teachings. When I took up Fine arts back in 2002, there are less lectures and more on hands-on drawings and labs. This means lesser class hours for Christian living lessons *sigh. Less time, but unforgettable teachings. How can I forget my professor, Mr. Cura? He was 65 years old back then, but still he was teaching. He was a real emblem of PASSION, PATIENCE. He was a real inspiration for everyone whom he shared his life with. Apart from the great teachings and lectures I had with Mr. Cura, the University's annual activities being held like "PASKUHAN" is one of the reasons why I dearly love my Alma Matte

August 7, 2010 (Saturday) Lesson #1 Each and every patient is unique. They might have the same symptoms, but they have different causes. The doctors should treat each patient differently, ask questions, and listen. In our case, I told this doctor that my daughter has cough for almost a month now and the doctors including my daughter's pedia heard that her lungs are clear whenever they listen through it. It turned out that my daughter had viral fever which was caused by pneumonitis. If only this gay doctor from the ER last saturday LISTENED. He could have admitted us that day and no need to send us away. Lesson #2 Mothers knows best . It is part of our innate instinct to feel that there's something wrong happening to our loved ones. Indeed, gabby just had a plain HIGH FEVER but who are they to tell us not to have our daughters admitted when we felt there's something wrong. Woke up at around 6 o'clock in the morning and I was listening to this song in which I thought was very timely. I was playing over it again and again until I organized some valuable thoughts, experiences creating a microscopic organization of my life from the time I really let the Lord take over my life. Looking back at it, I can testify to one Truth:  that Jesus is a faithful God, He listens to prayers and gives us the desire of our hearts in a timely manner.
