Lost for words , overflowing joy and a spirit -filled heart : These are the words that best described the feeling I had, as I approach the stage, walking side by side with my daughter on her recognition day.  Who would have taught that the definition of Joy and Accomplishment can evolve from personal, to maternal. At this early stage of motherhood, the Lord has given His strong assurance over my daughter, and knowing she will be guided by the Holy Spirit all throughout her life's journey, is the most joyful part of it all.  "Who am I, O Sovereign Lord and what is my family that you have bought me this far? August 7, 2010 (Saturday) Lesson #1 Each and every patient is unique. They might have the same symptoms, but they have different causes. The doctors should treat each patient differently, ask questions, and listen. In our case, I told this doctor that my daughter has cough for almost a month now and the doctors including my daughter's pedia heard that her lungs are clear whenever they listen through it. It turned out that my daughter had viral fever which was caused by pneumonitis. If only this gay doctor from the ER last saturday LISTENED. He could have admitted us that day and no need to send us away. Lesson #2 Mothers knows best . It is part of our innate instinct to feel that there's something wrong happening to our loved ones. Indeed, gabby just had a plain HIGH FEVER but who are they to tell us not to have our daughters admitted when we felt there's something wrong. For 4 years, my Alma Matter was and still is the University of Santo Tomas .  There are a lot of reasons to be proud of this University. The Character built within each and every students who enroll in this campus are remarkable and I can say made us, Filipinos proud of our race.  For Centuries (400 years), Catholic catechism has been the basis of the University's teachings. When I took up Fine arts back in 2002, there are less lectures and more on hands-on drawings and labs. This means lesser class hours for Christian living lessons *sigh. Less time, but unforgettable teachings. How can I forget my professor, Mr. Cura? He was 65 years old back then, but still he was teaching. He was a real emblem of PASSION, PATIENCE. He was a real inspiration for everyone whom he shared his life with. Apart from the great teachings and lectures I had with Mr. Cura, the University's annual activities being held like "PASKUHAN" is one of the reasons why I dearly love my Alma Matte...
