The doctors should treat each patient differently, ask questions, and listen. In our case, I told this doctor that my daughter has cough for almost a month now and the doctors including my daughter's pedia heard that her lungs are clear whenever they listen through it. It turned out that my daughter had viral fever which was caused by pneumonitis. If only this gay doctor from the ER last saturday LISTENED. He could have admitted us that day and no need to send us away. Lesson #2 Mothers knows best . It is part of our innate instinct to feel that there's something wrong happening to our loved ones. Indeed, gabby just had a plain HIGH FEVER but who are they to tell us not to have our daughters admitted when we felt there's something wrong. For 4 years, my Alma Matter was and still is the University of Santo Tomas .  There are a lot of reasons to be proud of this University. The Character built within each and every students who enroll in this campus are remarkable and I can say made us, Filipinos proud of our race.  For Centuries (400 years), Catholic catechism has been the basis of the University's teachings. When I took up Fine arts back in 2002, there are less lectures and more on hands-on drawings and labs. This means lesser class hours for Christian living lessons *sigh. Less time, but unforgettable teachings. How can I forget my professor, Mr. Cura? He was 65 years old back then, but still he was teaching. He was a real emblem of PASSION, PATIENCE. He was a real inspiration for everyone whom he shared his life with. Apart from the great teachings and lectures I had with Mr. Cura, the University's annual activities being held like "PASKUHAN" is one of the reasons why I dearly love my Alma Matte...

Wrapping up 2022 : Affable Sagada- a short trip to the Mountain province.

One of the infamous lines from this Tagalog Movie: That thing called tadhana "Paano ba makalimot?" was the most common force that leads most of the travelers near this affable sagada. To some, this may be true. But as for me, our Trip to Sagada last December 22, 2022 was a mix feeling of "life- changing" , "most needed break" and "soul searching" experiences. Indeed, this place did not disappoint. "Life Changing Sagada"  I booked this trip in order for us (my daughter and I) to obtain a different perspective about life and relationships. True enough, the Lord had opened my eyes seeing things I do not normally see in my regular home- work- church rigor.  The recent pandemic had strengthened our Faith in the Lord and taught us how to depend in HIM alone. But living with the natives of this place for three days: doing things they normally do , eating the food they normally eat and simply going through different places within the villa...
